What a 2–3 Day Lash Course Is Designed For
Think about learning any other skill in just 2 days. Would you feel comfortable and confident enough to make a whole business out of it? A short beginner course is best viewed as an introduction, not a complete career pathway. What it does well: Teaches basic lash safety and hygiene Introduces classic application and tools Gives you exposure to the craft Helps you decide if you like doing lashes Limitations if your goal is income replacement: Limited hands-on practice (typically only 2 models with trainers working in and out) Little to no correction after the course Minimal focus on retention, speed, or consistency No real business training You leave with a paper that says “certified,” but this lacks truth For many artists, this means weeks or months of trial and error, slow progress, and undercharging or free sets. That is why so many people give up before any progress is reached. A 2–3 day course works best if: You’re exploring lashes casually You want to test the industry before committing You’re okay to keep it as a weekend adventure
